Altroz (File)
Tata Altroz Facelift, a car offered in the premium hatchback segment by Tata Motors, one of the leading vehicle manufacturers in the countryy. Available in five variants—Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ S—the Altroz sports sleek LED headlights with eyebrow-style DRLs, a 3D grille, and flush door handles, inspired by the Tata Curvv. The 90-degree opening doors and 16-inch alloy wheels enhance its premium appeal, while a 165mm ground clearance remains a concern for some, per user feedback on X.
Advanced Features and Interior Upgrades
The Altroz Facelift’s cabin elevates comfort with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, and a two-spoke steering wheel with a backlit Tata logo, borrowed from the Nexon. Key features include a voice-assisted sunroof, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, rear AC vents, and a cooled glovebox. The audio system, with four speakers and four tweeters, delivers immersive sound. Safety is prioritized with six airbags, ISOFIX mounts, and connected car technology via Tata’s iRA platform, costing ₹1,999 annually. The beige and black interior, while premium, may soil easily, as noted on X. The 345-litre boot (210 litres for CNG) ensures practicality for urban families.
Powertrains and Performance
Mileage ranges from 19.17–23.64 kmpl for petrol/diesel and 26.2 km/kg for CNG. While the turbo-petrol option is exclusive to the Altroz Racer, the diesel remains a segment-first. Despite criticism of the petrol engine’s low-end performance, the Altroz offers balanced handling for city and highway driving, making it a compelling choice in its segment.
